Great Lakes Fishing Records and Master Angler Programs

---

Master Angler programs and state fishing records are about more than just catching a big fish. They recognize memorable catches, encourage anglers to learn more about the waters they fish, and give families another reason to spend time outdoors together.

At Master Angler USA, we believe getting the next generation involved in fishing and the outdoors is an important part of keeping the Great Lakes outdoor tradition going. Whether it’s a child catching their first qualifying fish, a family chasing a new personal best, or an experienced angler pursuing a state record, these fishing awards help make those moments worth remembering.
